Give Local this Holiday Season

Are you thinking of making a corporate or personal donation this holiday season? We work with several local not-for-profits who make our community better in a variety of ways. A contribution to any of them will help people in need today, and is also an investment in our collective future.

Take a gamble on the Calendar for Good

Seems that everywhere you turn there are Advent calendars for sale. Good Shepherd Hamilton has capitalized on this and added an additional level of excitement – it’s a calendar lottery, meaning there are 24 days of prizes to be won! Giving to Good Shepherd is always a good thing, so this gift idea is a no-brainer!

Make community sports fields and schools safer

Andrew Stoddart died suddenly while playing soccer in 2015. If there had been a defibrillator on site, the otherwise healthy 15-year-old might still be here with us. Since then, Andrew’s close friends and family have rallied to get as many AEDs out in the community as possible, in hopes that no one else will have to go through the agony of losing a loved one.

Help build Keaton’s House

The Hamilton area has a first-class children’s hospital, but for children who have life-limiting condition, there is no home-like setting where they and their families can get the support and holistic care that they need. Keaton’s House, the Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice, will be that home.
